I had a quick question. The LFS in town just received a mess of Florida Ricordeas. I bought a rock with 6 or 7 Rics and they all have bright pink mouths. Is this something common?

I will see if I can get some this weekend. They are hot pink though. The others all have bright green but this one was pink.

I think it is simply a matter of the particular ricordia. I've had several different color varieties that have pink mouths, like this blue one;

I think pink and green are typical mouth colors that are not the same color of the polyp itself.....In most cases the mouth color is the same as the polyp....I agree with Scopus Tang....
