I almost forgot I had this thread lol, thanks for reminding me.

I try to keep things pretty simple in my tank. What's your parameters like?

Parameters are all stable, I run higher nutrients. Alk between 8.5 and 9.0, calcium 430, nitrate 25, phosphate 0.05. All other acro’s look great but the Fox Flame looks on the browner/maroon side and won’t branch out.

Hmm... I'm guessing the flow is pretty good there as well? Other than your nitrate, most of your parameters are similar to mine. I've been running 8.3 dKH recently.

Does your Alk swing from 8.5 to 9 pretty often? I'd try keeping the alk as consistent as possible.

Thanks!

I'm currently just using the Nikon D5500 with the 18-55mm kit lens.

Oh nice, I've got the older Nikon D3300 with the 18-55mm lens. I guess I just need to learn to use it. ;) Your pictures turned out amazing.

I used to have the D3200 - I will say that the D5500 has better ISO ranges and I've been taking advantage of that as I can push the ISO higher without the picture becoming too grainy.

Fantastic reef; What is the dimension of the tank? What is your radion schedule and t5 photoperiod?

Thank you! The reefer is 71" x 25.6" x 23.6". My radions come on at 1PM and turns off at 11PM. The T5s come on at 3PM and shut off at 9PM.

What are the 4 corals on the bottom right of your FTS?

Are these the 4 bottom right?

If so, some kind short tentacle goni, ORA red goni, Jae's Atomic Balls goni, and one of my first corals that's managed to stick around in between all my tank upgrades - a plain old duncan. :D
