Is this possible fin rot? Noticed this on my hippo today. I feed every other day, gonna go to daily feeding to hopefully get her happier.

Ammonia 0
Alk 8
Nitrates 20
Phos 0.1
Nitrites 0
155 gallons including sump

I have a Niger trigger, striatus tang, sailfin tang, lunar wrasse, green chromis, and two clowns.

Please post a video in lieu of pics and Use white light intensity, no blue as its impossible to see a blue fish under blue lights. While I see what may be bite marks , I also see what may be an isopod

Video was very short- should have mentioned at least 10-15 seconds but I so see what may be an isopod. If true, giving the fish a 5 minute freshwater dip same temperature as display tank should cause it to dislodge.

Did a freshwater dip

A FW dip won’t help with this. It is an odd spot for an injury, don’t might be a rarer primary bacterial infection.

Do you have a hospital tank?
