nobody go outdoors, smash your phone and all devices, and never go on the internet, ik its from a reputable retailer, but places like Walmart, target, amazon, those r reputable and doing the same thing

Do they? I do not shop at target or have an account but I visit their site to price shop and have never received an email from them. Actually I have never received an unsolicited email from any of those retailers you just named.

Yea, I get this happens all the time.like I said before, I just wasn’t expecting this from sbb, and they openly said what was happening….i am just surprised that they are ALLOWING this to happen, and they aren’t caring about the privacy of their potential customers.

I saw this same thing a couple of days ago. I clicked into a web site that came up in a search result. It was a site I had never seen or been to before. Decided that wasn't what I was after and closed the browser tab. A few minutes later I got an email that said "Wait! Come back!" from the vendor.

Assumed it was scraped from my google identity, but now that I think about it, I believe that email came to a different email address than my gmail.

Sorry Stewy I think your age prevents you from seeing things from the same perspective as many of us that are older. No disrespect meant it's just a generation thing. Many things that are acceptable to your generation and even the prior one (my kids) are not acceptable to me. Also just because everyone else is doing something does not make it right or acceptable. It is what it is but we don't have to approve and act like it is OK.

I understand soo much about this, I tried to learn how to do white hat hacking(the good kind, that helps, not black hat, which is the bad)

We have murder and theft along with other unspeakable crimes all around us. Sure it's not the same thing but just because something is going on all around us does not mean we should just roll over and accept it as the new norm.
I know this type of stuff is going on and us complaining here is not going to change things. But it is nice to have some like minded people complain together, it bonds us :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:
