Awesome thanks for sharing!Saw this in reefability app not sure if this a mistake or what
I agree that g4 was the golden Standart and in terms of spectrum it gotten a little worst. I run the g6, I am happy but g4 was betterprobably gonna be blue oriented and SUCK like g5 & 6 !!!
They have been out of stock since Black Friday.XR30's and 15's Pro/Blue both have been out of stock at least this week at BRS.
Who knows, maybe Rap Orlando.any new rumors out there ? G6 are still available...
Nothing at rap!Still waiting for the G7 announcement. Hope it comes out in 2025!
All the more reason for Ecotech to come out with something new!I wouldn't hold your breath for a G7. Chinese have copied the Radion and the idea to keep rolling out the same form factor with updated tech seems like something they wouldn't be interested in pursuing.
Not to say they won't come out with another Ecotech light, but I'd be surprised if it is a Radion.

Honestly my G4 Pros are growing corals like weeds so not sure why would I ever want a G7… except to brag to my neighbor Bob that he still got a G3? lol
Ecotech is a victim of their own success. I’m super happy with my old lights. It doesn’t make sense to me, personally. For example, I have 3xG4 Pros on the frag tank, only running at 55%. Anything higher and I’ll be burning corals! So why would I pay $1000 EACH for a G6 (forget about G7)? That will be ~$3400 total (inc tax & shipping) to replace my current setup. I doubt that a new light system will grow corals better. You got to factor in flow, water chemistry, stability, nutrients, etc. Lighting is important but just part of the equation. Not to over generalize here but there are posts around the web that support the G4's prowess. Not too difficult to find. Even WWC will mention it from time to time.
If I was in their shoes, and I'm not, I will look at the overall market saturation and see how a new product would fit in. Can I create a product that that is priced reasonably, allow me to put money away for the company, and pay a reasonable salary to my employees. A challenge for sure...
