Do Earlei need cooler water? Think they’re a deepwater wrasse. And if I’m not wrong Femininus also comes from cooler water.
I tank runs between 78-81. They seem to happy. I heard the wrought iron likes cooler water but not issues there either.

Obviously not rare in the wild but rare for the hobby! Here's my Halleri ray!

Hey. What can you tell me about the ribbon goby? Was always interested, little info about them in tanks. More like Jawfish or tilefish / dart fish?
Hmm
The latter. It was really shy and wouldn’t eat for a few days. It sat in a crevice at the back. But over the next month it got bolder and is now constantly out like a darter in a peaceful tank. Much bigger though obviously. Doesn’t flash so much now that it’s happy. I think I should have gotten a group as then it may flash more.

Not sure if this counts as rare but here’s my Copperband pair that took me like over 7-8 months to pair up . Hopefully the ultimate aim is to breed them .
Then I can just sell all my so called designer acros and fund aquaculturing of butterflies and afford exotic fishes :D

It's been 4 years, did you ever have any luck breeding them?

i cant think

I wish you luck with the Atavai, these guys can get outcompeted by fellow tank mates for food and generally don’t do overly well.
Fingers crossed and… Photos when he arrives or it never happened ;)

Whilst the actual fish species isn’t rare, it’s rare for anyone to keep a Halichoeres chloropterus until adulthood and until a male. This is my transitioning (Maybe even finished transitioning) male Halichoeres chloropterus.
