If they are hard, that rules out worms.I have seen these recently also on a torch. They don’t blow off and are hard like a rock. They do not seem alive
Agree with @Mr. Mojo Rising
Fast multiplier. Hopefully it just looks the same.
They don’t eat corals but live on them. In quantities, can upset corals ability to photosynthesize.
For control, Six line, Spotted Mandarin, manual vacum.
Flatworm Exit if they get too many but make sure you 30% water change, fresh activated carbon syphon out as many as possible before treatment, when they die, they be toxic, in certain amounts, can kill fish.
Your also need to treat every 7 days, four times to completely eradicate.
ok. What you have is not what I have. Appeared similar in pics.
That looks exactly right! Googling now lol
Yup, I used flatworm exit to “dip” flatworm infected corals. I now use it on every coral in addition to my regular dip.I have a yellow Coris wrasse currently and they do seem to move now that I’m looking again.
I have flatworm exit but I’m not sure if I can use it as a dip? Was going to pull this 1 torch that is clearly infected and dip it to get any flatworms off.
I can certainly dip it every 7 days that’s easy.
I dipped the torch last night. Did 2 drops of flatworm exit in 0.5 gallons of water. Seemed to work well.Yup, I used flatworm exit to “dip” flatworm infected corals. I now use it on every coral in addition to my regular dip.
Used outside of the DT, I not concerned about the worms death toxicity.
