My red planet turned green. When I first noticed it I changed the bulbs they were 13 months old. That was 2 months ago and the color has not come back yet. I had nice color before that with no change in tank parameters. It's 14" below 14K 150w Phoenix bulb was wondering if I should raise or lower it? It has good growth and PE where it's at so I been hesitant to move it.

The red planet will change colors depending on where you put it. Some people love when the green base really shows up. I also love that green base with the red polyps. I say leave it since it has the nice growth. You could always frag a piece off and put it in the higher light so you could have both colors.

Yeah, I had one turn emerald green on me... it's crazy... had the same thing with a raspberry prostrata... it turned green with red polyps. Craziness!
