Here is the short story.........Tore down my 250 MD and sold everything off, I was moving to a new hobby after 15+ years. 3 weeks later my brother had to move and gifted me his 10 month old Red Sea 350 G2 and that fast I am back in. I am setting up a new aquascape which I think after 2 weeks i am happy with. i am now setting up the rest of the tank.. Everything is basically new. I did use my old rock which was acid washed, bleached and rinsed for days.

My plan is to set this system up for mainly corals. Going to put 3 Kessil a360x lights on this and add the corals that I have always liked and not getting caught up with the so called "holy grails". Most will be sps/acro and add a few Goni and mushrooms at the bottom. The tank is about 75 G and will most likely add a powder blue tang and gem tang. (I know too small of a tank bla bla bla. I do trade them out when its time). I really really want to try to use the included ATO tank to save space on the right side of the cabinet. I do have a 11 gallon ATO tank that fits in the right side that will easily solve my problem but I want that room for other supplies. The pic shows my current set up of the sump with the reef mat, skimmer and the included gravity fed ATO tank. Is it too cramped? Do I even need the skimmer with only 2 fish? Does the included ATO even work well? Looking for some opinions before I add the water and start the cycle.

I used mine for a couple years before replacing it with something better. You can get by with it, but I would plan on replacing it when you have the budget.

It is not a matter of $$. It is a matter of space and I have the tank and ATO that came with the tank. Which I am not sure why Red Sea gives you the ATO gravity tank and a free ATO pump. Seems like they are of unsure themselves.

I use about a gallon of top off water per day, so I found that reservoir too be too small. If money isn't a concern, get a better reservoir and a better ATO.

I have the XL300 tank so slightly smaller set up. Here is my sump area. I have a 10g ATO reservoir.
