Hello! Welcome to the build thread.

In the past I have made build threads but had to tear the tank down due to relocation for my job.

I am now able to start my journey into the marine predator tank world. In this thread there will be lots of pictures and explanations when the tank gets up and ready.
My goal is for the tank to be up and operational by august and have inhabitants before September.
Hope you enjoy!

@Mordie101 did you have a previous RSR250? I think I was following that build thread. I like your stocking list. Do you have an equipment list? I have a RSR 250 too.

Yes I did have a previous build about 3 years ago! I will be adding my equipment list very soon as I’m attempting to re-use my tank and equipment from my previous build and would like to test everything out prior to adding my equipment list!

Got everything set up two days ago in the house! Have been filling the tank with RODI water and I’ve added my pump, power heads, heater, and skimmer to the system along with some citric acid to clean everything off again! Won’t be long until I start cycling!!

Hey @Mordie101 what’s the box in the tank on left side may I ask?
Not sure if you mean my sump but I’m using a vectra s1 return pump, a reef octopus classic 110sss skimmer, I’ll have my refugiam, my heater, 2 filter socks and a bio-block.
The small black square on the left side of the glass is my flipper magnet!

@Mordie101 LOL I see it now. I thought it was one of those Tunze Waveboxes inside the tank!
