59" is perfect; this tank is a CADE 1500 S2, also 59". The Merdian 45's is exactly what you want <3

Thank you! Really scratches a mental itch seeing it all come together
Thanks for the confirmation. Looks like I will be copying your setup. Will also start with the 45 then add one or two Edge later. With the single 45 do you see any issues with shadowing? My coral are still pretty small so I assume I won’t be able to tell.

For the Edge it looks like it comes in several color spectrum. I will keep an eye out on what people recommend.

Hmm, shadowing was from the stock Lids I got with the tank. I was able to move the shadows by adjusting the center braces of the lids. However, I do plan on getting the TopLips with the Plank feeder cutout (hence why the right lid is misaligned) and it'll have the Evap Glass top, so likely no shadows after that.

For Edges, I'm going for the Freshwater (front) and Reefer 14k (back). Not that I really need them any time soon, my M45 is currently at 10%-15% in the picture lol. My thinking is to buy quality and hope it's future-proof for at least 6+ years.

Cheers to you on your Meridian :) Waiting out my shift right now to go home and play with the settings more.

The median 24” fixture and edge bar turned out to be a pretty slick setup at a frag swap today.

Thats a pretty epic setup for a swap! Can you explain the mounting brackets for the main light and the add on strip? Are those RB too or custom?

All reef breeder products. The strip light is attached with the articulating mounts so you can adjust the angle.

The wires all run through the tank mount channels and are nicely hidden from view.

I do have a few questions. Is there a number I could call to speak to someone
Sorry just saw this. Just reach out to our customer service portal on our website and we can schedule a phone call on Monday.

Got them up today, Was late to work because I kept on staring at the tank. Worth.

I don’t have any other lights to compare to except for the pop bloom lol, but wow, it’s beautiful in person.

Haven’t gotten the time to fully play with the settings, but was hoping the app has an acclimation mode or something. Or a global dimming when I have my hue ratios in.

Overall, I love it. Well worth the wait :)
Plan on adding two Edges for more balanced daylight and to give that shaded look to the canopy in front.
Acclimation mode coming soon! And many other features.

What size for a 4 foot tank ?

Joined the club! It’s really hard to say goodbye to my halides! I don’t even know that I will haha! I might run them down the center like @SpSDrew did! I’m gonna give these a chance to shine before I decide to or not!

@Troylee looks killer! Yeah the halides on my tank aren’t *needed* but it’s hard to give them up for a good peak period of lighting.

I called last week and you fixed me up 35” meridian ordered and received. Thanks

Learned something new; R/G, yess!

Thought I was bounded to the many white, purples, and blues (which I’ve dialed to liking) haha

The (near) UV was set to 24%. I can really feel the sizzle on my skin reaching to set something on back of tank. Had to dial it down to 18%.

These are some strong lights!

Tank looks great :)

I don’t even know how to play with them yet lol.. I just loaded up battle corals schedule and running that for now.. when I have more time and aren’t so hung over I’ll play with them! :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Can anyone post some screenshots of how the app works?
Here’s a video.

meridian will soon offer custom layouts so you can technically have any colors you want. You can edit each color channel manually.

These are the meridians or photons?

Anyone else get ahold of the new Reef Breeder Meridians ?

My first impression is that these lights are extremely well built! Reef Breeders definitely went above and beyond to top the design of the previous photons. I first started with some 24” fixtures and recently added an edge bar and a 63” fixture to the lineup. The light made the zoas over my grow out tank pop so much I decided to swap out my travel frag tank for a Meridian set-up.

I’ll try to get some par numbers shortly on my sps grow out but waiting on another 63” currently.

Shoutout to The Detroit Reef Club for stocking these fixtures!

What size would you suggest for a 6 ft sps dominant tank?
