This was my desktop 5.5g nano sporting a 70w metal halide, real tonga branch live rock, and gravity drip fed ATO!

I love the frame around the tank!

We worked together side by side for many years (mining industry)... he came to help level the floor in that room (home theater) and i think his words that day were "You know... you are really hard to work for". I think we mixed and poured 30 bags of SLC - the stuff was going off as fast as we could spread it, and the more we poured the warmer it got and the faster it went off... a bit stressful.

That's pretty rare, getting to work with your old man. I got to work with my boy for a few years myself and thought it was the coolest thing. Got him a job as a pharmacy assistant when he was 15. When I was the RPh on duty on Saturdays, he was there too.

Thanks rev - it does not look as good anymore. I let it go for years and somewhat reset (cleaned up and got it back on track) a year and half ago and (being honest) don't do much but supply it power these days. It is coming back (almost all SPS) but has a LONG way to go. It is 20+ years old... maybe 25. I lost track.

I remember reading this in 1989 front to back like three times. Mind blown! Had my first reef setup in 1990. Wish I could find those old old photos!
