I am new to proper refugiums so I am trying to find a great light for my Reefer 425 sump to grow Chaeto algae.

I've gathered the Kessil H80 Flora is a great light.

My questions are:

Say I had some frags that I wanted to keep in the sump from time to time, would this light support the frags (mostly softies and LPS)?

Which channel do people run their Kessil H80 on? Blue, Grow, Bloom or Red? Which channel would be best for Chaeto AND some frags?

If you are looking to do frags and macro, consider the regular a80 or a160we.

As for settings on the h80, grow is the setting to use. I would not use the h80 with corals.

TBH I find the h80 and a80 only good for very small areas and would prefer a light that covers a larger area.
