I present to you the brand new Ultum Nature System R180 tank! Just got it delivered a few days ago and finally had some buddies stop by to put it into the entertainment room. Luckily my floor layout is pretty open and with enough power we were able to put it in place with ease. Follow along as I build this tank out with you all from start to finish.

Cabinetry going in! Doing a full video on these as they are affordable and very well made to store aquarium equipment. Basically will be doing a mirror setup on the right side of the tank. The 2 cabinets measure 55" which puts the reef tank right in the center of the room which is about 180" wide. Excuse all the kids toys haha

I highly recommend using the affordable Ikea Sektion base cabinets as they are 24" deep which is the size of most tanks and hold a tonnnnn of storage.

You can also watch a quick cabinet build here:

8020 light mount bars are in and drilled into the frame!

Full details:
- Parts are from 8020.net but you can get them from anywhere that sells 8020
- These are 1010 series and can hold up lights with no issues.
- The vertical bar is 60” with four 4” access holes so that I can mount directly to my stand.
- The horizontal poles are 13” with an access hole about 1.5” from the end which sit just about center of the tank which is 24” wide.
- Horizontal light bar is from Dalua which is 72" long
- All the M4 bolts and 8020 angles/holders will be in my Amazon store. I’ll make a separate link for all the parts used.
- Make sure you measure 3 times to make sure all holes line up when you bolt them into the stand.
- This particular light setup was around $250 range but that’s because I went with 4 mounts but you can definitely get away with just 2 at the sides of the tank.

Dalua Illumagic X4 LED now mounted! Going with 4 across which will give more than enough light for the build.

Now you have to share pictures with the lights on! They look nice!
