Returning to reef tanks from ATX

Hello R2R! I have a 10+ year history with reef tanks but had to take a break for a few years. Now I'm back and excited to get going. Things have changed over the last few years in reef keeping! Leds were just getting popular and now they are everywhere.

I picked up a 55 gallon cube and sump and have been pulling equipment together like a bubble magus skimmer and a maxspect light. I also have been working on refinishing the stand/cabinet and plumbing.

We've gotten a much better grasp of the science behind the hobby. Still not perfect but definitely better.

Austin Aqua Dome is one of my favorite LFS stores in your area. They have some killer deals too, the old man there is pretty legit. If you're ever headed west (Midland) I'm always down to trade frags

I have been in AAD one time and was quite impressed. I will probably be frequenting that place. It is also the closest lfs to me as I am in South Austin. I will totally take you up on the frag swap!
