good morning reef 2 reef family .

I need someone who is smarter than me ( there are a ton of you out there don’t be shy) to help me guesstimate my par measurements. i’ve attached par numbers below from a gentleman who is using an ai blade grow over a 32gallon biocube . I have a 14 gallon biocube .

his biocube is 21.5inches tall with his light 2 inches off the water

my biocube is 16.5 high with my light 4 inches off the water .

i’m just trying to get a good estimate what my sps par numbers are hitting

If you are trying to fine tune your lighting, there is another method.

Increase or decrease your lights in small increments in the direction you want to go. Watch your SPS and test your alk. If alk consumption increases and your corals are happy you made a good move.

that’s smart i’m just getting my trident setup for dosing with the dos so i would have a reliable baseline for all consumption for a week or two
