Just finished off the enclosure for my water mixing station. Been a long process, with the basic unit up since May. Only just fitted off the chiller and completed the timber enclosure to give the chiller some protection from the elements.

Got my 105 gallon tanks at ky tank. I drove and picked mine up. Likely cost prohibitive to ship, but here’s the link in case. Will do thanks. However, TS only shows 50-65g tanks nothing larger.
No aeration, no heating and no mixing is really best. Just mix and keep it sealed between uses.
(Fresh-mixed is actually best. Mixed seawater stores for about a week before the vitamins go bad. The rest should be fine "forever".)[/QUO
What is on the end of your hard plumbing on the hoses? Some sort of diffuser?I have 2 75gal containers one for my fresh water n one for my salt water. They are filled with my ro/di line that runs from my laundry room into the garage. Each tank has a hose that will reach each aquarium to be filled. They are mixed by the pumps that circulate the water.
I sure did ha. And whats, i have my Vectra L1 turning that water around at high speed and the salt mix is pretty much ready in minutes from a mix stand point. Because I have it all sucked out of the bottom and shooting back up top. I also have two PH in there shotting downward towards the base to make sure all the salt is quickly dissolved.@Rachid Stoury did you add a new bulkhead to the bottom of the storage tanks? Haven’t see that before but it’s an interesting idea to make sure you get all the water out of the tanks.
One pump, bunch of valves all piped into drain allows me to pump old water out of tank... pump in fresh... pump in salt. I spent as much on the mixing station as I did on my tank.
Here is a short video of the setup.Hi everyone! I have a large 50 gallon baffel like Don showed below. I have had it for over 5 months and I really need to clean this thing . What are some of your methods of cleaning out these really large containers when the entry is so dang small. I will post a picture of my setup shortly but I only have one 50 gallon drum but I'm not considering two after reading this thread. For now, let me know what you think is the best way to clean this thing. This is my first official post on R2R so looking forward to the responses.
