What salt does everyone use .. Just trying to get an idea of what everyone uses .. I use Red Sea pro ..

I mix 50/50 for my tank because I don't wanted to throw away the redsea pro(dkh is too high for my tank IMO)

What I find odd is that with Red Sea Coral Pro my Alk measures 12 dkh in the mixing bucket and in my coral quarantine ( my quarantine is a 10 gallon with nothing but a frag rack). However, in my display tank I have to dose Alk and Calcium to maintain 9 dkh and 420 calcium. Would my BRS dry rock and aragonite sand affect the Alk? I only have 5 small frags in my display and 2 fish. My display is a Red Sea Reefer 350.

Was using Red Sea salt for a couple years, just switched to reef crystals about a month ago. Have to say my tank has responded well to the switch!

HW mixes very well with no precipitate

I've had really good luck with HW. Switched from Red Sea Pro. Mixes really clean and fast - 30min to 60 min max. It does take 3 cups to mix 5 gallons to 1.025.

I have been using Esv for years I love it mixes clean I have not tried the rest only other salt I have ever used was brightwell when I first started reefing.
