I would try a sand sifting goby, I have a diamond watchman goby. Although they are not bad I’ve heard Twinspot gobies do just as well but aren’t as messy.
Serpent starfish can be good but they can get pretty big and even eat small fish.Do think a star fish could work
fun to watch too . When I am cleaning my sump it looks straight at me with its grumpy faceMy sand has never looked the same since I added a Diamond Goby. Everything else can look awful but the sand is always sparkling![]()

I was thinking the same thing. Unless you’re buying quarantined inverts or at least inverts that aren’t housed with fish in common water. Inspect your snails for things like vermatids. I tend to think in terms of my own system and I realize it is a lot easier to deal with things like vermatids in a small system.Bumble Bee snails always play a nice role in a tank, too, by the way. But I'm just curious-- you are QTing fish, which is great, but aren't you worried that by adding 'new, wet things' to your tank, you could be brining in something harmful to your fish at this stage?
thought depending on tank size it wouldn’t hurt to have some variety, conch and nassarius snails work as well but not quite as fast as a Diamond Goby.
