Scopas tang mouth problem

I picked up a Scopas tang yesterday he looked good at the store. He has a like bit of ich that I'm ramping up copper for. But today his mouth looks messed up it has a white piece of skin or something coming out of it. Seem like he has a hard time closing it he tries to eat but has a hard time. Anyone have an idea what it is and how to treat it th thanks.

That looks like a bacterial infection.

I would treat with Kanaplex, Sulfaplex, and Furan-2 for 10-14 days.

Thanks would you recommend treating for the bacterial infection first or continue with the cupramine for the ich and then the infection.

I would do it in combination with copper if it was me. Is the fish still eating well?

He picks at nori but not that much I've only had him for 2 days so still could be settling in. I'll try it with the copper. I appreciate the help
