welcome Brian I'm on the east coast so can't help Ya find local sellers. I'm sure there are reef clubs in SD . That would be a good place to find some & cash in hand deals

@AquaSD is located in San Deigo,.go check them out. I am not forsure their address but I have ordered from them before.
They near the intersection of convoy and Claremont mesa. About a half block West of convoy. If you get to the 99 ranch, you've gone too far.

It's a warehouse with parking in the back. Not much signage from the street. They are pretty friendly and reasonable whenever I've gone there
