Shallow Frag Tank Ideas

I am looking for something to use for a frag tank. Looking for something around 12" deep and about 4 foot long. Size can vary!

Any ideas?

plastic bins? Ive seen them used before and they work good and are cheap. Not the best looking though.

You would you never have to worry about it breaking. If you needed to move it, you could use a pallet jack or fork lift. Need to work on something above it? Throw the cover on it and you are good for several thousand pounds!

Umm.. and who cares how it looks? Put it next to that control board you just got and no one will ever even notice it!

Here you go @revhtree seller has multiple options even a peninsula frag tank and does custom frag tanks. One even has free look down box with the frag tank if you go through all sellers items.

I just setup the deep blue 45 G non tempered frag tank 48" x 18" x 12" for like $119 , slapped a stand together and the 40b fits perfect underneath for sumpage ! you can drill this badboy any how you like it ! if its for fragging go with something glass you$$ be happier you did later :) Keep it fragtastic !!!

Edit also the 18" spread is easy to cover with cheapo used 6 bulb nova t5ho units people are selling left and right on CL

I have an idea.... and that is you should really set up 2 smaller frag tanks instead of one larger tank. You will be able to develop much better quarantine practices going this route. You could build up a collection of frags in one tank, let it sit for the safe 76 day fallow while you were adding frags to the 2nd tank.
Since you are looking for the best possible setup (and I'm guessing you get a ton of either free or very discounted equipment) this is the route I would go if I were you.

Otherwise, you will either risk an ineffective quarantine, or have recurring long windows where you cannot collect frags.

I'm using a 2x4 foot hydroponic tray. Looks nice and inexpensive, but shallower than the 12" you were looking for; more like 8"
