Okay so this is my second attempt at starting a thread here on R2R. I guarantee this time will go better.

Most Recent FTS

The Details

Tank: 78g Starphire "Cube" from Concept Aquariums in Calgary, Canada. 30x30x24
Lights: Ecotech Radion XR30W Pro and Two Reef Brite Lumi Lite Blue
Powerheads: Two Tunze Nanostream 6040
Return Pump: Eheim piece of loud garbage ill be switching for a Sicce soon
Heater: 200w Jaeger
Skimmer: Tunze 9004 ( I like to slightly under skim, my mushrooms appreciate it)
Refugium Lighting: AI Prime

The tank was filled up on October 8th, 2018. All (or most) of its contents were taken from two of my previous systems, a 40g breeder, and low boy lagoon. I did the transfer in one afternoon and had no losses.

Since being in the new tank, the corals have really had room to expand and have been very very happy.

The leathers have exploded in growth and have quickly filled this tank up quite nicely.

Other than a few small fish and inverts I plan on adding, the tank is pretty much full at this point. There is room on either side for a few small frags but other than that the livestock will not be changing too much.

Future plans for this tank include. Upgrading the return pump and skimmer. As well as adding a carbon reactor and potentially dosing once the corals really start to fill in the tank.

Thank you so much for looking and I look forward to interacting more with the R2R Community.

Cheers,

Sharbuckle

Hey thanks everyone!

Picked up a bottle of AV fuel yesterday, I’ve heard mixed reviews. Any thoughts?
