All right, I’m using speech to text for this one so let’s see how this goes. I officially rehomed the sailfin tang and in exchange received a medium sized copper band butterfly.

So far he’s pretty shy, and the purple tang is keeping him to one side of the aquarium, but it is eating quite well. It came from the display tank of LS that got out of saltwater so they are freshwater only now and liquidated all of their display livestock. so it’s been in an aquarium for three or four years I believe.

Also, I don’t think I mentioned I added two mangrove pods. that are already starting to roots I can see growth on the roots every single day and that’s very encouraging.

Other than that, the tank is steady as she goes, and I’m going to be executing the small-cap as soon as I receive a bit more rock from Aqua Forest.

I LOVE this fish. It eats algae more than any other tang I’ve owned and it’s so cool watching it transition. Ignore the aptasia please lol

So many new things added today. I’m definitely leaning heavy into softies. One of my biggest inspirations was a guy named Mike C on YouTube. His softy tank was insanely gorgeous.

Added a pink nepthea, sinularia x2, green cabbage, some more zoanthids, and a few other things.

Okay I have new plan for a rescape!

So here’s my idea. I was going through photos of all my old tanks and realized what I want to do. I’m going to take the aquascape from my old sps tank and replicate it here in the r120. On top of that I’m going to fill it full of the same coral I used to keep in my 78g softy cube!

We start Sunday. Wish me luck.

Ordered a few things from Aquarium Depot here in Canada. New carbon reactor being installed. Epoxy and glue on the way as well so I can really start leaning into a new scape and properly mount coral!

Quick update: nothing to update….. not only did I hurt my back I now have the flu. Been in bed for four days.
