Well. I spent all afternoon and most of the evening on Friday moving all of my coral into the new tank. I didn’t realize how much LPS I had acquired.

All of my fish from my healthy tank are being babysat for 90 days while my tank runs fallow. I would like to avoid any possibility of fish disease.

All fish being added will all be medicated and quarantined moving forward

Here’s a first look at the tank with life in it! Heavy on the blues and with an orange filter but it’s looking so so good!

Right now I’m using an inkbird 300w but I’m also going to use two 200w moving forward. Just borrowed this one from a friend to get the tank going!

I’m using the Illumagic Beast mode bundle from Dalua. Two x4’s and two vitamini strips.

Got all my dosing lines hooked up. The included dosing line attachments on the sump made it so easy. Ran the lines from my doser and through pre drilled holes in the wall of the controller cabinet.

I’ll start testing this week and see what I need to start dosing!

just noticed we officially have diatoms! The ugly phase is about to get ugly.

Added 25 trochus snails today to bolster my clean up crew. Also my good friend Jason from Unorthodox Reef dropped off some sps to fill out the top of the scape.

Needless to say, he did not disappoint. I’ll include some photos below of the frag rack. Including an absolutely monster colony of stag horn.

Took a quick photo of the bottom glass tonight with just moonlights on. To the right you can see how clean and white it is, to the left, brown and covered in algae. The spot where it’s clean is where I dropped the new trochus today. Needles to say, they work FAST.

Beautiful build. I’m thinking of upgrading to a UNS 120. Question about the dosing connectors. I have a reef factory x3 doser and it comes with soft silicone tubing. Will this work with the connectors on the sump?

I’m using RF dosers with the included tubing. Should be problem attaching to the dosing connections in the sump.

Standard dosing line will definitely work with the connectors in the sump as it’s exactly what I’m using. Looks like Brandon is also using reef factory doses so I’m gonna say 100% it will work.

I am blown away by how amazing this tank is looking already. It definitely helps to have friends in the hobby who drop off buckets of coral.

Having said that. I can’t wait until my fallow period is over and I can add fish. I miss having fish, they’re the reason I got into this hobby in the first place!

Thanks! Everything is doing awesome except the big stag horn. I think I blasted it with too much direct flow. Going to frag it down today.

God I love how easy auto top offs make my life. Believe it or not I ran my tanks for the last 2 years without any ATO. Now I’m kicking myself.
