I'm curious what LED strip lighting people have used under the cabinet. Hoping to get mine setup in the next week or so! I have a RSR250 btw.

OK so I'm trying to plumb my Eheim 1262 into the return of the Reefer 350, but the hose barb that comes with the 350 for the return is way too small. The 1262 is closer to 3/4" and I believe the barb the 350 comes with is 5/8"? I have zero interest in hard plumbing this, just looking for a way to get some 3/4" hose going from the return pump, through a TLF ball valve and to the return plumbing. Is the thread pitch on the barb that comes with it the same as any barb I can pickup from HD/Lowes or am I going to need to order a special 3/4" barb online?

Maybe this will help from BRS although it's for the Vectra M1 with a 350. Scroll to the last question of "Ask BRS."

Unfortunately what they are referencing are slip x barb adapters not MPT x barb. Thanks for looking though!

Why not get it local? If you can and need a link let me know where you want to purchase it and I’ll give you a link

Oh I will if I can. I was just curious if anyone knew if this was regular pipe thread or some weird Red Sea or European pipe thread pitch I can only order online before I drive over to Lowe’s.

Red Sea barb is metric. Everyone uses standard NPT male and wraps extra teflon tape. I believe 10 or so wraps if I remember. I also think it was 3/4 male NPT

Hey guys, wondering if anyone has installed a roller mat on their 350 series. I'm interested in adding on to my system but not quite sure if I have the room. I'm not very diy handy, so modifying the sump is out. Just curious if it's possible, currently looking at the compact roller from theiling.

Guys I’m looking to buy a Max E 170, but I’m concern as what kind of mechanical filtration it has. It looks like water flows through skimmer, then chemicals filtration then some sort of corse sponge. Are this known to have a lot of crap floating around? If so I might get a reefer 170 instead and replace socks instead.

Can you adjust the feet with water in? My tank is slightly off level. It's either the stand bowing and being a piece of crap or my floor has settled a bit.

Either way I don't think it will settle more as I have two floor jacks in the basement under the tank and the stand seems stable. (Knock on wood)
