What should I try next? Leaning toward E. M. Erythromycin.
I have a Royal Gramma that has been lethargic for about 2 months now. I've had it for over a year. It was quarantined with prazipro and and then copper before it went into the main display. Before I put it in the qt, I thought it was dead or dying for about 4 days, but whenever I went to remove it, it swam away. It stayed in one place on the sandbed, or in the corner of the tank facing up or down.
When I put it in the qt, I did 2 rounds (two weeks) of general cure/ It had one long string of white poop, then it perked up for a day, but then the lethargy resumed. Then I did 14 days of copper at 2.1 ppm. It seemed unaffected by this. Now, we are at the end of the first cycle of paracleanse, but it's been in the same spot for like 3 days. The silica sand is very fine. Sorry for the dirty qt glass.
I think it has a gram positive infection because if it was something different, I feel like it would be dead by now. I want to do a huge water change and to e. m. erythromycin, unless you guys have a better suggestion. Thank you.
