Slow page loading?

All,

Is anyone else experiencing slow page loading?

Specifically, when replying to a post, I get a thin blue line travelling left to right at the top of the page. I have to wait for some time before the quote from the message I'm replying to will load. If I don't wait, the quote eventually appears right in the middle of what I'm typing.

I see this on both my iPhone and my desktop. It has been worse for the past week. It's not my Internet speed, and I don't see this on other web pages.... any ideas?

It’s been happening off and on with me for the past few weeks as well. What’s funny is my wife who will be sitting right beside me will have no issues with Reef2Reef loading, but I’ll have issues with it loading

Yes ,few times a day ,not for long, worst is around 11pm CST that i have seen,just wait a few,stop and refresh the page a few times ,none lasting more than 4 or 5 mins, on desktop.

Same. It's been two or three weeks. I have to back all the way out and reload. SOMETIMES this works. I probably should clear the cache, now that I think about it.

Slow loading, no. I will occasionally get a pop-up message saying that the content is no longer available or something along those lines, but refreshing the page fixes the issue. That has been consistently happening for the last few weeks.

Send me a check for one billion dollars and I will restore the site to working speeds. I can't fix the "blue line" because that one I don't know what it is? Never saw the blue line>

I've been having similar issues for months. I guess I've gotten used to it. Now I have a new issue. If I have a few tabs open and I go back to the R2R home screen the page just goes blank with the background color and nothing else. I refresh the page and it reloads as normal. This has happening a lot but only on this site. It only happens when returning to the home page not if I'm moving back and forth between threads.

Was a while back pages were slow to load but never blue lines that I can recall. We do often lose internet as our provider supposedly making upgrades therefore can't say it wasn't due to that although at times would check to see if other sites loading and those seemed fine.

This has happened to me also. Mostly at night. I had it chalked up as server maintenance.

Thanks everyone. I’ll check into this again to see what I can find. Nothing more annoying than a slow loading site!! Grrrrrr….

I had absolutely no issue as described above until just now, but sure enough now pages are loading slow and a blue line is crossing right below the header.

The blue line is just a loading line, so if you see it loading then it’s loading slow.
