The white definitely pops out!
White AI Prime matched with that would look perfect.
Following along to see it :D

Thank you so much.
That's the conundrum, every piece of equipment in this hobby is black.
But the HD would be perfect for the lay out and depth of the tank.
It's a very shallow tank at 7 inches.

Yeah, the white prime on that would look boss, and be able to handle pretty much everything you throw at it being so shallow :)

Reef Casa Pico Mark ll six gallon tank.

Stock Pump is 158.5 gph, not quite enough. Ordered Mighty Jet Universal AIO which puts out 266 gph, comes with controller.

Undecided regarding heater and lighting.

Tunze Nano 3 ATO, works perfectly in this tank. Flawless thus far.

Dry Styx rock and Aragonite sand.

Began cycling with ammonia chloride and Microbactor7 on January 22. Nitrates are now registering.

Live stock holding in another already cycled system include a Neon Goby, and Banded Coral Shrimp. Corals include numerous Zoanthids, Xenia, Sacrophyton. Three Astraea Snails and three small Hermit Crabs.

More than a decade ago I saw a white tank on a forum and I feel in love. When I saw this tank I knew I had to have it. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's mine.
I will get the cover for the back compartments to hide the black cables, Reef Casa makes one. Lighting might very well be the white AI Prime HD 16.

Thank you for taking a look.

:)
I love the aquascape in there!

Ugggg you're killing me BRS. My doser is just waiting patiently.

The waiting really is the hardest part. I started collecting in December.
Probably best and cheapest thing I have ever purchased for an aquarium. I am running a Tunze Nano 3, I really like it. I have a Duetto I don't trust. So I figure what the hey, for 10.00 bucks you have a back up.

I went with Popbloom for few reasons.

1. Price, gets great reviews.
2. It's white, I really wanted it to match the tank.
3. It's the perfect size, alittle over kill. I will be able to grow anything.
4. AI Prime has a history of melted pucks.

Also arriving is the Bubble Magus.

On the 20th a shipment from Aquasd. Three beautiful Maxi-mini and a Raspberry Yuma.

So very very excited.

:)

Added the Bubble Magus Nano skimmer 2/13. Silent and already putting out skim. Perfect fit.

Popbloom RL90 gets here 2/15. Yippee.

Nitrates were 40 ppm this am. I can not even get 10ppm on my running tank with livestock. Completed a 2 gallon WC.

Maxi-mini Anemones ×3, and one pink Yuma to arrive on 2/20. I am planning on doing a 5 gallon WC on 2/17.

Last but not least the Diatoms have shown up.

Lol.

Well...I went with Popbloom. They were on special. I like the format of the controller. AND no disco ball light effects like I had with my Hydra. Mounting arm included, the fixture is white and higher par.

It's over kill.

Last image of an empty tank..
Popbloom looks good. The app was not difficult in the least. I am going leave the light in acclimation mode for awhile

Are you going to pain the light bar to match as well?
I am thinking yes, maybe a light grey. I will test the color out under the fixture to see how it looks first.
I will even see if someone can 3d a white top for the skimmer.

Thank you for stopping by. :)

The Pico is one month old today, it feels like 6 months though. Time really slows down when you're waiting on a tank to do it's thing.

One more piece of equipment to add. The Mighty Jet 266 gph, that will double the return flow, making a huge difference, no need for a power head in the tank.

The Popbloom lighting is impressive. I turned the intensity down to 30%. The lunar cycle is cool, the app is easy peasy. Silent fan and a ton of coverage.

Finally got the package from Aqua SD. The Maxi-mini Anemones lost a lot of color. Not sure if the Yuma going to make it. No pest though which is really important to me. Next I will be adding some more zoanthids and stoney corals, Micromussa.

Ammonia 0
Nitrates 20
SG. 1.026
Water changes of 4 gallons of Instant Ocean.

Some white light images.

While aquaSD has a lot of good deals, not everything is wysiwyg. Also their pictures are super over saturated. I have found I needed to take a picture and turn down saturation to about 65 percent. You can also ask if they can send you a picture without saturation. They do seem to have good customer service from what I have seen in the past. I would have no issue ordering again from them I just now am aware of the image saturations. So you minimaxi may not have lost any color.

FYI, the minimaxi can get very big depending and don't host well. Super aggressive and sticky. Had one decades ago ate a ton of inverts that got close and a couple fish. But it is really cool anemone.
