Something on my Marine Beta

I got this bueatiful Marine beta and currently in QT. I notice the white thing on him but can not remember if he was like that before I got him. Any ideas ? I al.ost want to say a piece of food. But it's been almost 2 weeks

+3 lympo - it’s a harmless virus. Marine Bettas are tanks. Congrats on purchasing one of the hardiest fish in the hobby [emoji106].

I had the same fish and symptom. Died after 10 days from lfs. Had it qt
