Spot okay for my elegance?

I've had it for.. I don't know, six - eight weeks. I didn't feel like it really fit. I know they're suppose to go on the bottom, but is angled like that on my live rock okay?

What about if they touch the glass? It was a little before which is why I moved it.

Wow. Yours is gorgeous. :) I'm thinking before my next water change redoing my aquascape some and making a big open spot for mine.
