So you had all those colonies grow out in your system, and they just now started coloring up nice bc Zeovit?

So this is not an endorsement of Zeovit system but I started using their food and amino products a couple weeks back (but no bacteria, carbon dosing nor zeo reactor.) About a week after starting them I saw colors and good growth come in on some just green corals and others lightened up to show other colors they had. Nutrients all became more stable at lower levels. Seems for me their products don’t raise phos nor nitrates as much as some of the more popular foods in my tank. Now phos is regularly testing between .01 to .04 where I would see it hit .2 at times using other foods on occasion. So much more stable that I discontinued my daily test checks for phos and nitrates.

Debating adding the reactor now.

I Also went to their T5 bulbs at the same time using 2 KZ 10k and 2 14k with my 3 kessils added. May be coincidence- but I like what is happening.

Happy for you. Wishing you well beyond the couple weeks mark.

Awesome job. I enjoyed using Zeovit as it kept me in tuned with my tank. Just a word of caution though, if you decide to go full Zeovit (with a reactor) start very slow. You do not want to strip you tank of the nutrients too fast. Zeovit is good at stripping nutrients so do it slowly. I used it for a while and then I took it offline because I wanted a refugium. I still follow their maintenance regiments with the water changes, carbon and I still dose a few of their products. One last thing, be ready for the negative comments concerning Zeovit, just remember its your system and you do what you want to do with it. Good luck and Happy reefing.

Whatever you’re doing now looks awesome. I had the zeo reactor and carbon dosed and it killed every acro I had, not to mention the brown slime everywhere. I still use many KZ products but not the media reactor or carbon dosing.

@Makers Marc what experiences have you found? I am still not certain about going further than the foods and additives as I like what I see right now. And the carbon dosing seems to have hit-or-miss success on here.

If you like what you see then stick with it. I dont have anywhere near the amt of colonies you have, and only use a calcium reactor and dose nothing.

Ok- I think I am being confused for the OP. I just added to the Zeovit comment with my experience but the OP put up the colonies. I do have 8-10 colonys and probably 20 frags in different stages of growth.

I am personally using the Flatworm Stop, Acroglow. Acrobooster. And the aminos only. Also occasional on the iodine and strontium supplements. The corals getting stripped over night stopped when I started the flatworm stop yet I can/could not positively ID any flatworms.

No zeofood (carbon) nor the zeobac (bacteria) nor the reactor (zeolite)
