I've broken a rib three times.
Only 3 times? Then one should be a piece of cake for me. I have broken many bones, but if you are a person that has a life and does things besides going on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or any other thing that I have no idea what they are, then you probably won't break anything other than your Mothers heart. Real Men break bones, thats why we have bones. 😎

Great I wake up this morning to discover that I am not a real man cause I have no broken bones. Do teeth count? My dog broke two of my teeth. I snow ski, snow board, water ski, bike ride, motorcycle ride on and off road, roller skate, skateboard, golf and tennis when I have to...I keep trying but I am a miserable failure. I have wrecked a few cars. Honestly, I am trying but like all the awards Paul has won, they just plain miss me.

Oh well, heal up Paul you are my example of a real man and I need a good example if I am going to achieve "real" man status!

Try not to cough!
Broken ribs are no fun at all.
I have broken my share of bones and ribs were one of the most painful. Sneezing hurts the worst. Getting in and out of bed wasnt much fun either. Hope you just bruised them and heal soon paul. Carying your wife with broken ribs is manly!!!

Lowell, I think you are certainly a real man as you do Man stuff. Apparently better than me. 😀

That is very Manly. I do some of those things and also crashed in a helicopter twice, got blown up and was unconscious for 20 minutes before I had 39 surgeries for stupid things. But I was trying hard to get my Man card. 😆

The last time I skied, I broke my leg in 3 places, so I failed miserably at that. But it was a Manly break. 😅

Yes, I have 9 tooth implants. 😬

I wimped out and went to the hospital because my headache got worse, and my ribs are also not in a good mood. I explained how I did it, and they are probably still laughing.

I went to the emergency room in the local hospital, and they said they were going to give me a CAT scan. I didn't bring a cat, so I excused myself and went out in the street and found one. They put the cat through the machine, and he was fine, so they put me in.

It seems my head is fine and my ribs are just a little bruised, so I felt better, except for the pain.

Then the DR said he wants me to see a Pulmonologist, Cardiologist, and Kidney specialist. Now I really feel bad. 😕

He said I have some calcification around my heart, which I kind of knew about because I am 77, so everyone my age has a little of that. I also have "crud" in my lungs, which I also knew about, and it is from asbestos and Agent Orange. I spent many years installing the stuff and removing it because it wasn't dangerous then, and in Vietnam, they told me that Agent Orange is healthy, like eating avocados and apples. They lied.

I also have a small kidney stone and I hate those because I had one about 30 years ago and I thought my wife was sticking a screwdriver in my back.

So, except for the calcification getting a little worse, the "crud" getting a little worse, and the kidney stone waiting to put me in excruciating pain, all is great. 😬

Now my granddaughter is here, so we are taking her everywhere she wants to go and buying her what she needs for boarding school 😀

I figured out a way to kill my non quarantined fish! Flatworms.
Geo, I didn't know flatworms could do that. I had thousands of them and thought they were cute little flying carpets and free livestock. They never hurt anything in my tank but maybe they were stupid flatworms and didn't know they were supposed to be toxic. 😬

I didn't either. I thought you would have to treat them with some chemicals for this to happen. Big mistake on my part. I've probably done this process of sucking them out and squirting them through filter floss at least 10 times. Just thought it was an easy way to knock the population down. Should have just left them alone. I managed to save about 6 of the smaller fish - at least so far. I think clownfish are immune to anything. The big momma clown I've had for almost 12 years didn't even notice it. Running a bunch of carbon. No skimmer, so its the only thing I have. Haven't done a water change in over a year. I only use water from the ocean - I could run down to the beach and fill up a couple drums, but just don't have the time. Probably lost about $400 in fish at the cost of when I bought them. Probably worth over $1000 at the size they were.

Never broken a bone. Few years ago some idiot decided to pull out infront of me while riding my motorbike. Went to hospital and after an x-ray they said I had broken my wrist.

They put me in plaster up to my elbow and I returned some weeks later to have the plaster removed. They x-rayed me again and said I hadn't broken my wrist after all but it would have been better if I had and the bone give rather than resisted. They said I must have very strong bones.

You're a lucky man atoll. A friend of mine crashed yesterday on his Harley, Head on collision with a pickup truck 66 years old. They amputated his leg at upper thigh, Smashed pelvis, 4 broken ribs and a broken arm, but he is alive! Roads are too crowded now. I quit driving bikes years ago, to many on the road not paying attention

So sorry to hear that about your friend.. I agree roads are dangerous due to standard of driving mostly.
I quit riding bikes a few years ago. Had 2 accidents with cars pulling out in front of me at junctions. I sold my last bike 5 years ago and now have this instead, it's my bike now.
