Beautiful walk at 5:30 this morning. We have our friend staying with us for a couple of days so I went out a little earlier.

She's the short one that looks like a bear. This was putting wreaths on the graves of Veterans last winter.

I walked on the beach at low tide for an hour.

As I walked I was surprised to see an Apache porgy God painting on a rock.
(Or it's Janis Joplin)

They must have had a Powwow here last night while they fished for porgies.

They must have wanted to stay for the night because they started building a TeePee

Something must have frightened them away before they finished covering it with squirrel hides. (We don't have a lot of buffalo here)

I think I know what it was because as I walked, I came across this Alien artifact that I think is from a hostile group of Aliens from the Andromeda Galaxy.

I don't think they ran too far as I think they took refuge in this Gazebo on the slope of the bluff 100' up.

Post 13,042 is the best picture I have. They never come to the front of the tank and stay in the rocks in the back. It's also dark there so very hard to get a picture.

They must be eating amphipods (not copepods) because I have loads of them. I haven't collected amphipods in 2 years as they all bug disappeared from the shore behind my house but they have been multiplying exponentially as my algae scrubber is loaded with them.

When I clean the thing I try to rescue as many as I can.
I look for them every morning under rocks at the shore but for some reason, they are gone. I called the EPA but they just think I am nuts like so many people on this forum think. 😆

I just took this blurry picture through the back of my tank of one of the Janss Pipefish in the dark with no flash

Whats this silly Paul's fish is eating, is it some kind of new amazing fish food? 😉
It must be if Paul's fish are eating it! Mimics natural feed better than anything on the market!

We have to be out by 8:00 am today as they will again try to asphalt the asphalt in front of my house and all the other houses here so we won't be able to get into our properties. My fish will have to feed and occupy themselves. 😎

This small redfish I have no recollection of buying and I never see him in the light. Only here in the dark before the lights come on.

He is hanging out with one of my Dwarf Red Waspfish who I also see and feed just after the lights come on before the other fish get up.

My Daughter got me this for Fathers Day.

My 2 Janss Pipefish also swim around at night

Looks like a little cardinalfish... Quick Google search says maybe Rising Sun Cardinalfish from Japan.

Yesterday we had to leave our neighborhood so they could coat the asphalt around our houses and street and we couldn't walk on it, drive on it or even look at it. (It came out pretty lousy and just looks like they sprayed some thin water color black paint on the surface which I could have done in 10 minutes)

Anyway, I also did something stupid. I do a lot of stupid things but don't usually hurt myself while doing them. 😳

We got home about 7:00 last night and we had to park on the grass about 50 yards from my house so as not to sink in this thousandth of an inch of tar they sprayed on the ground which seemed to annoy the ants as they were up to their knees in it. 🥺

We brought my wife's powered chair and her walker because we weren't sure what we were going to do at our friend's house for the day and we didn't know how far from our house we were going to have to park when we got home.

The "tar" seemed dry, so my wife wanted to walk to the house using her walker and I took her powered chair. There is a pretty steep hill in the grass that leads up to the street near my house, and I drove the chair up the hill and was going to get off of it at the top and lift it over the cobblestones there that line the road.

The handicapped chair is not exactly an SUV so I had to give it full power to get up the steep, grassy hill which was probably not my best idea and winning "Mariner of The Year" didn't help.

The thing fell over backwards along with me and it ain't too light. Neither am I. 😵‍💫

My head hit the ground but my head is rather hard and empty and the hand grip on the back of the chair kind of went into my back and I think I broke or cracked a rib because now it is rather difficult to breathe and my gills are not working well.

Luckily, my wife went the other "safe" way with her walker where there is no hill, and she didn't see me doing a "dying Cockroach" on my back with my arms and legs flailing up in the air. 😬

Our Grand Daughter Greta is coming over today on the Jitney from the city and then is going to camp then away to school so we may not see her for a year or so and I don't want to waste time going to a hospital or a "Doc in the Box" for a stupid X Ray to tell me I cracked a rib and they can't do anything about it except give me an aspirin.

I will live and Real Men crack ribs all the time, it's part of being a Real Man and not a Sissy Girly man. Of course, I can't show my wife it hurts, or she will call an ambulance, Swat team, Dr Oz or the Surgeon General because girls like to make a big deal over minor things.

I am not going to walk on the beach this morning because the heavy breathing coming up the 176 stairs won't be easy and when I feed my fish I will be sure to only pick up the lighter mysis so as not to strain myself. 😎
