I watched a couple eps. I understand it's just a show but it never really showed what it takes to get your tank really running its just a hour show but they make it seem like just add water and sand stir add some plastic fake corals in the tank to make it look pretty and your done I'll like a show to get real show the ups and downs of this hobby show the venders how they get corals fish ect

I watched when the show started...but it quickly became a dvr show...i'd watch the intro to get a project outline...then forward to end for the reveal...and while will give credit for some really nice builds...I always hated the "instant fish tank" at the end and sometimes w/ species that are very difficult to keep....

My wife loved this show and tbh I have watched many episodes. She loved looking at all the fish and inverts. It wasnt until I started my reef tank that she realized how much "hollywood" the show really was. After a few conversations about how many fish you can truly keep and what it takes to make a tank thrive she was a little turned off of the show. For me I got a little bummed when they did that liquor store build and all the fish died because of over stocking. We as aquariust have a responsibility to our fish friends and they truly showed they only cared about the money. I realized it's a TV show but again I would hope they would be more in tune with practicality. The nail in the coffin was hearing that this would happen often and they would even go as far as to have customers sign a liability release for the over stocked tanks. I think this show does have some merits but tbh I am relieved it's off the air

i never watched an entire episode, my mom liked watching it, though.

watched the 7 min clip on Alyssa Milano's tank and uh, is that a bubbler in the fireplace tank? lol

for how much those tanks probably cost, man i'd hate to look at Shaq's tank everyday. so clowny

As a reefer addict (wow...did I just say that?!), I watched the show. Though I admit that over the years I tended to fast forward to the install, fish selection, and the final reveal...and whenever Agnes was on-screen.

One thing that I didn't like was how they made themselves look like klutzes with manufacturing and/or install mistakes.

I’m still curious whatever happened to one of the only reef episodes I saw. One of the first seasons. It was a 8 foot high ten foot long 3 feet deep peninsula wall reef. It looked sick, but extremely difficult to light and provide flow, and to maintenance i’d imagine.

8 feet high? Shaq is retired.. maybe he can help. He seems like more of a predator tank kind of guy, though.

I was wondering that about the reef tank at aquarium of the pacific. that thing was tall, but had SPS growing well halfway down. and they had a powerhead in there that looked more like a boat jet

guessing someone just throws on the old mask and snorkel, but it must suck to get in there and accidentally kick a huge colony of acro lol

Despite many things over last 2 years revealed such as system failures and High pricing, I enjoyed the humor, stocking, assembly and the show in general. What a bummer
