I’m looking for some help with 2 part dosing

I have a Neptune apex controller, neptune trident, neptune dose pump and Neptune dosing reservoir

Also have the 2 part B IONIC alk and calcium on hand.

I’ve never dosed before where do I start!?

Teach me like I’m a child! Please!?!?!?

I won’t get into the details of how to automate with the Neptune , but first question is are you dosing anything now?

In general, dose both parts of B-ionic equally to maintain alkalinity. Make small adjustments to the calcium dosing over time if it is getting too high (say, over 550 ppm) or too low (below 400 ppm).

First thing you need to do is calculate your consumption which is probably very low looking at the tank. Then you determine your necessary dosage. You then add that amount to the tank with your chosen method. For years my chosen method was to add the two part in equal amounts manually each morning. That's as easy as i can make it. I can't help with automation because I'm ignorant on any automation above and beyond using a dosing pump.
Maybe post in the controller forum for assistance on the automation?
