My Ricordea florida was trying to hard to not split to the point it had 3 mouths and has taken just under a year for him to split one of the mouths off from the other two!
I know this tank is SPS mainly however this is a mushroom I love and do want to eventually have in my 4’ tank but for now the neon yellow colouring on this guy is beautiful :)

I cant believe I managed to update the Mushroom but not get an update on my trio of pinkies.

So far during feeding I have only seen 2 but obviously, they’re pretty much identical except for one being larger than the other two so I can’t actually say if I’ve only seen 2.

I have an update on the monti! Look at the growth he’s pushing out now :)

New FTS is coming out after a WC tomorrow (hopefully!). I got caught up with time today and now it’s 1 hour until lights off so I can’t do the WC today - this tank is dying for one though, I have about 5-6 different types of ‘algae’ claiming the rock, one is Cyano (again…).

The Monti just radiates red in person, I hope I can naturally graft this piece again, I just don’t know what to hunt for the second colour.

I just used the turkey baster trick on the patch of cyano and I’m hoping it’ll work!

Just a few smaller updates :)
First one is;
Remember that huge drag of Tortuosa, well it slowly died back to one polyp. So because the skeleton just got claimed by algae I ended up ripping it back to one polyp. So now I have a huge fragplug against a tiny polyp.

And now the second update is the Florida ricordea :)
I showed the ricordea with 3 mouths but actually it turns out it’s got 2 mouths on both of the splits. The first two photos are from today (and yes, it’s a stunning yellow under this new light), the third photo is from around when I first got it.

I have discovered from looking top down… I have a lot of green and blue corals, I need more reds and stand out corals (I do have the dream for a Pink Lemonade but that may be far in the future).

You could try a nice Trachy or have a small Scoly garden? Or maybe a Goni island of sorts? Don’t know how big it can get though for your sized tank.

I don’t think so because, at least the lords, don’t mind even being shaded. Though I do suppose they should be placed in a higher spot. You think a Lobo would mind less PAR?
