The 40 gallon was fun but the saga must continue. My wife and I bought our first house back in 2019 and I began planning this tank around that time. Our new house however, had other plans... Having been in the trades for many years we settled on a fixer-upper so naturally, repairs took precedence over the fish tank. Now that I have a house with solid floors it’s finally time for an upgrade. We just redid our back living room this winter from the framing up to accommodate the new tank. I sistered the floor joists under the tank location to be safe, added some bracing, extra bridging, and went with tile for ease of cleanup. Here’s a few pics of the start of my sca 150.
Equipment is pretty typical and will be:

Trigger 10 gallon ato reservoir
Tunze ato
Waterbox aluminum stand w/ plywood top. ( I like a good leaning ledge)

Jaboe dc 15k plumbed externally
Pair of jager 250w on inkbird
