I replaced flashing on the house, took down gazebo and changed spark plugs on my truck. Now sit back smoke a J and stare at my tank. I did my water change on Friday and scrapped the glass off last night. Also put up pictures last night.
I'm getting good growth on my yumas and zoas. I think these @noopsyche lights are doing great.

Adding some new copepods, Rotifers and a phytoplankton/zooplankton mix.
I added half the bottles and will be adding the next half in 2-3 days.

I also order a bottle of live phytoplankton. It all came packaged great, shipping was fast (1 day), it was all bottled yesterday in Devon, Alberta.
It took a while to find live phytoplankton and copepods in Canada, but it was worth looking.

The company I found is called "My Little Ocean" prices were good and shipping was great. Website below for fellow Canadian Reefers.

Figured since I put this up on @bpbonds thread that I would post it on my own build thread. I've been making this mix for about a year. I was adding Reef Roids and some other Seachem additives to the mix, but stopped adding them about 2 months ago. I've seen my phosphates drop down and diminishing algae. Slowly but it's going away lol.

I premake my fish food in 2 large ninja mixing cups. I use multiple frozen foods with selcon. For each cup I mix what's listed below. Display water is used to fill up the cup after adding food and selcon.

Hakari frozen foods:
Qty-type
4-blood worms
4-Krill
3-Ocean plankton
5-mysis shrimp
2-Coral gumbo
3-Spirulina Brine Shrimp
4-Baby Brine Shrimp
5 drops-Selcon

I feed 2x daily, lunch time and around 8 pm. I give it a good shake and add 3-4 turkey baster blasts. The turkey baster is usually filled about halfway for each shot.

I haven't been doing an update lately, been busy. My Yuma is having a baby it's the 4th one since I got them this summer. The leather is finally popping out some polyps, but I think the power of the @noopsyche K7 V3 140w lights is too much. I have lowered the whites and keep watch. My anemone looks like it's going to die, but it is moving away from direct light also, which makes me think I may have to lower the blues too.
Other than that, everything has been doing ok, still battling cyano but who isn't, lol
When I have more time to take pics I will. My zoas are growing beautiful.

I love the colours and shimmering effect of the Noopsyche lights.

Well I figured its time to do an update. My BTA anemone split, my two clownfish are hosting both of them and seem happy. I'm getting Yuma babies like crazy. The zoas are all growing fantastically.
We lowered the intensity of the flow from my Mp40 and the leather coral seems to like the change, this was about the same time that the anemone split. I am absolutely loving the MP40 and the Noopsyche K7 V3 lights.

I have also noticed that since adding copepods and phytoplankton the population has increased considerably.
My GHA is almost gone, just need to get the cyano under control better.
The cyano isn't too bad and not blanketing, it's more of a harder type that's attaching to the rocks.

Looking great! I’m so jealous of your nems hosting your clowns!
Thanks, I used a video to initially get them to host my anemone, it's the second time I've done it and it worked

I played this once or twice a day for 3 days. Only while I was looking into the tank. I didn't play it for the full hour each time, only about 5-10 minutes at a time

I’ll give it a try again! The last time I tried it, my baby clowns got so freaked out they tried to jump out of the tank!
I just put it on full screen infront of the clownfish, they stressed a bit (which is why I only do it for short bursts of time), but I think it's due to seeing another clownfish and being territorial.... which is why I think the video works. It makes the clownfish think the anemone on the video is the one in the tank, so it instinctively wants to take the anemone away from the video clownfish. It probably thinks the other fish is in the tank too, lol they never leave the anemone, so they have no idea they are the only two in the tank, lol

Thinking about a BTA in future... would be nice if my clown found a host after all these years. The Long Tent Nem apparently rarely ever hosts, so that'll likely never happen...tank is looking nice. Haven't forgot about shipping you a few Hairy Mushrooms, they are massive now. We'll ship them in spring , less chance of temp damage...

Thank you, ya it's nice to see the clowns hosting. It brings so much life to the aquarium. I really don't think I would enjoy it as much if I didn't have an anemone.
I am really looking forward to getting those mushrooms, I was so sad when I lost mine this summer.

Everything is looking great! Thanks for the video tip. I’m tired of waiting for my clowns to go to my nem. Going to give this a try

Interesting! Curious as to the shelf life on the live Phyto? That's a screaming deal for the size imo. I'm currently around 5-10 mls per 10 gallons a week so a bottle of this size hopefully has a fairly long shelf life. The reefer blend is also something I would likely purchase after adding a few new life rocks to the tank and a few more in the future...

I add 30 ml to my weekly feed mix, it seems to be good so far. I think I will be buying a smaller bottle next time.
The bottles of copepods were jam packed with them. I was really happy with their products.
