Finally got around to shooting this one the other day.


I got this from Longtime SPS keeper Ryan Paskin in a pack ages ago. Never knew what it was but It has become something that has commanded my attention.

Though it would be the coolest tort ever, I believe this ones an austera, and a darn nice one at that. Unless someone can chime in on it's identity I am just calling it the Ultimate Austera. The tips on this one are unreal. Like a sploch of day glow under a black light!


Grown from a teeny tiny frag I got nearly three years ago now.

Such a sick piece! Very unique with the neon yellow tips. I've always called mine Poletti's Yellow Tip Austera.

Any tips on how to get the yellow tips on this one? Right now mine is trying to disguise itself as a Miyagi Tort
