Can anyone tell me why these things are? There’s about 30 of them all throughout my tank, and they’re all about the same size. My friend says they’re aiptasia, but I like variety of opinions.

They look more like Hydroids to me. These are harmless in most cases and they tend to disappear just as fast as they show up. Keep an eye on them though.

What if they end up being a harmful species of hydra?

Then we call captain America to finish them off. I kid. You can Google some harmful ones and see if the resemble it? I had a flash of them when I started mine up again. They go away imo

Wouldn’t aquaman be a better choice I’ll go look and see though, I hope it’s just a basic normal “don’t kill coral” hydra
