I think I may know what's causing the high po4. Elvis likes to grab mouthful of sand and spit them out. Sprinkling the sand like fairy dust all over the tank. It's great because it's keeping the sand bed really clean but I think it has stirred up trapped po4 and detritus. I haven't ever cleaned the sand so I am thinking this is why it's been so high and remains high. Nitrates have fallen back down so that's at least a good sign. Should probably snow the tank and get some rowaphos working.

Forgot last night I also dipped the 2 hammers that were having issues with BJD. Just used tank water and hydrogen peroxide they are looking better today. May do another dip tomorrow or Thursday.

Got the icp test back and started dosing the tank back to normal. Hopefully it will be back on track by Feb 22 for the swap. I missed the other big one so really hoping things will be back to normal in time.

17lbs today and 2 shots. She napped pretty much all day, which was a much needed break for me. Tank has been dosed back to normal so planning on cleaning glass and trimming dead ends tomorrow.
