Why the heck are you having such problems? 3 times? Are you picking up the packages as they arrive from UPS/FedEx? Do you live in some area that's far from civilization?

May want to wait for a few months for more shipments.....
I just got bad luck!!! LOL I had them delivered at first then it dawned on me that I can pick them up at store location, so that's what I did on this one and still bad results! I feel like DD doesn't believe me because this all sound like such crazy bad luck. Even the scolly and the acros were supposed to be shipped on different days and one box (the sps) got delayed a day and I received both packages on the same day.My scolly was on time but still came in like this.

Acro's are goners. Did you pay the extra $$$ to have them delivered priority? I always check the box for that option.
No I didn't, I should of I didn't think it mattered when I took the day off of work to go pick them up at there store location. So you think the sps are goners I thought so to. What do you think I should do about that $400 scolly, I think it will come back but for the price I paid it shouldn't look like that. I have 4 other scollys some that I bought online and none ever came in that bad.

Overnight is the way to go..

I personally don't think you should pay even 1 cent for that scolly. You paid $400 for a scolly that was healthy and you got a dying piece of crap. Let them take a hit of the $400...no reason why you should settle at a certain amount and let it heal for MONTHS in my opinion.
Thanks Speg your comment made me feel better  now I know I'm not over reacting about the scolly.

If I self pick up at fed ex by 10:30am isnt that the same as delivered priority?

Yeah, agree.. those are pretty dead from the picture.. dont seems like any skins or small nubs remain... Sorry to hear just a bad experience..

No 3 bad experiences in a row. LOL One good thing is that they have had great customer service, and have taken care of me for the most part except for the scolly, that they haven't got back to me about yet, it just all around sucks.

Have you called them? Offer to send the pic's, they rock for CS and should give you a 100% refund minus shipping IMHO.

I would say that the Scoly should be just fine. Of course it will take a little time to recover but should be in good health in no time. As for the acros, they are done. The only acro that looks like it may have some flesh on it is the second one. The other two look like they are completely dead from what the photos show.

I would still show them the photos of the scoly just in case it take a turn for the worse.

I have always been treated amazing by Live Aquaria, just take care of it with them. Why the need for all the advice, its really about what makes you happy, not what we all think.

Since your looking for advice though....

The acros are done, get your money back on that and then be reasonable with them on the scoly. It's damaged but is an amazing piece, $400 is a bit steep but if it were me i would offer to pay half. At the end of the day you'll have the coral and they will have record you called in if it does have problems in the future. They will take care of you, as said above their customer service is top notch.

I think a 50% credit on the Scolymia is fair. If I saw that piece in a LFS the way it is now, I would not even consider paying full price. This being said, I believe it will fully recover.

i would honestly try to let the acros recover! the flesh didn't look like it was coming off of it. i got a bad shipment from a vendor on this website and they looked like that and i saved half of them!! took a while but im proud of how there doing

Why not at least see if the acros recover? What's the harm in that? I don't know if you'd get credit back since it was a shipping delay. But never hurts to ask!

first off, i completely understand that store credit really really doesn't allow you to breathe again about this whole situation like a full money refund on your credit card or checking account would. cuz like you said, it means to make up for all of this, you have to order something again, and now with multiple shipments coming like this, i'm sure your faith is a little diminished to say the least.

like eswebster said, it's not about us though, it is about you and LA themselves. i have never ordered from them but have only heard good things especially regarding their customer service, and obviously they wouldn't still be this successful if they did not take care of problems that arise in a fair and timely manner. that being said, IMO the scoly has a great chance to recover, especially in an established, flourishing, and successful reef tank like yours. it will need some lovin, but it will get there. but because of the state of it, a half refund would be fair to both sides i think. either way i wish u the best of luck, and i know it will be solved in the end. as for the acros, i say why not give them a chance. worst that can happen is they don't make it at all but at least u tried and did all you could. take care and keep us posted!

Go to your local store!!! ours here in denver rock, better prices than most sites and wyswyg is no joke then!

Whether or not the scoly makes it, I can understand you being upset about paying $400 for a scoly that does not currently appear to be a $400 scoly. How is it doing? Has it puffed back up any?

I feel your pain...I paid for priority delivery for this thursday, fedex showed up at 12:51pm, water temp'd at 67 degrees, and I unpacked $600 worth of dead fish--a rhomboid, a lineatus, and a longfin. I was really distraught to see that 5 inch lineatus dead :( DD asked for me to send them the bodies back before they issue a refund...I'll be highly upset if I get store credit
