We don't just sell to home hobbyist. We have clients from all walks to life. From schools, zoo, universities to labs that want to experiment to large tanks in malls, restaurants, doctor offices and public shopping areas and hotels all around the world.
That makes sense. Those are some big sharks. For aquariums atleast.

Ill check them out. Biggest thing for me is customer service and shipping cost. I live in Alaska so some people won't ship here or won't ship cheap ($60~)
I can’t even imagine what it would be like getting saltwater fish to Alaska.
That is dedication.
Yeah coming from TN to Alaska. I don’t even know if you can do overnight.

UPS does pretty well up here. When I lived closer to Anchorage I would have the fish next day by noon. Now that I've moved farther out I usually have them by 8pm.

That is actually awesome. I am glad to hear, amazing how small the world has become with technology and overnight flights.

Yeah I ordered a fish from WWC (Orlando) and still got it by noon. I was surprised. Pretty much everything via UPS goes to Louisville or LA and does another 5-6hr flight here.

Like to give a shout out to Reef Pro, he sells conditioned fish, great guy, can text him. Got a hard to get for me pink streak wrasse, and a royal gramma. He’ll explained all he does. He packs super small fish properly so they don’t die in the corner of the bag during shipping in a plastic container with holes he can swim in and out of while keeping the bags open so the corners don’t collapse. First time I saw this from a shipper.

Why don’t you post this on the reef pro thread. This is about a different vendor…

I would consider giving them a try, but I'm in Alaska and it's hit or miss if anyone will ship livestock here.

Well I am fairly new didn’t know there was one, thanks. However I didn’t notice the same friendly advice to the poster that posted about WWC 😀

Even better why don’t you tell me how to do that because I have tried to search for a specific thread on reef pro and I have no idea how to do that. All I get is stuff that has the words reef and pro in it so if you really wanna be helpful, why don’t you explain it to me?

Searching reed anf pro on a reef forum probably results in an onslaught of incorrect threads. If you go to Forum, then scroll down to the vendors list you can find the Reef Pro section of the forum. I included a link to their forum. I hope this helps.

I was just about to post about how excited I was that my fish were shipped and I’m getting them tomorrow, and then I get a notification from UPS that they delayed it until Friday. They literally just did this to me with Reef Cleaners yesterday. :(

I hope the fish will be fine. I hope UPS also somehow pulls through. It said it departed and then it says it is delayed.

Its unfortunate. but they left Tulsa and arriving in KY soon. as long as they are there by 1-2am there is still a chance they will get delivered tomorrow. So not all hope is lost yet.

That’s good to hear, fingers crossed! I appreciate the insight into how this all works. I was looking at it thinking it was weird that they said it was delayed literally right after it left Tulsa.

You would not believe the bad luck I have had trying to quarantine Swallowtails, which is why I decided to purchase from you. The Swallowtail gods keep challenging me.

There are thunderstorm in KY that developed from nowhere. Nothing was on the radar eariler but its midwest weather you never know. flight might be delyaed by a little bit but in knowing through experience, these msg/emails are auto generated. and if they land before 2am there is a great chance they will make it by tomorrow.

Just angry rn. Will update whenever I receive my fish.

edit; Just heard back and he told me he dropped the fish off at noon; which imho seems even worse. He said the fish can survive up to 5 days with O2 as long as they aren't subjected to extreme temps.

Unfortunately we have no control over UPS or nature and thunderstorms.
But the part about fish can survive for several days in bags is true and has happened several times in the past.
We did our job by packing is in a way it should survive and let's just wait and see.
Our guarantee is to provide healthy fish in your hands and if ups delays cause any issues we take care of it and replace at no cost to customer.

Yep, I went back and searched for stories of people with delayed fish and what I was finding was success stories from your fish in particular which makes me more confident about the condition the fish will be in when I get mine.

This thread regarding Dr. Reef specifically provided a lot of good information.

not trying to brag because its not a good thing but unfortunately UPS does mess up time to time and there are delays sometimes. If I was to put any kind of profession guess/numbers, I would say that if delay happens most packages 99.5% of them are delivered the next day and 95% of the fish are generally alive and ok unless weather is extreme. Now a days weather is perfect tropical weather so I expect them to be alive and ok.
If delays are longer than couple of days then chances start to drop but we have had fish survive up to 5 days in good weather.
Either way our guarantee is to have a healthy fish in your hands and also stay alive on most of the livestock for at least 3-7 days (depending on fish) and you can search we have covered livestock way beyond guarantee period. Because like Dr. reef always says, Hes not in it for money.

I ordered back in December. Lost 1 anthias, but he replaced no questions asked.
Was happy with my first order, so I placed another order back in February which I believe I will be getting soon.
Will be getting almost all my fishes from him now on.
