I just added a T5 hybrid light over one of my tanks. I had an xr15 pro g4 as the only light. It is now mounted in the center of the hybrid fixture. Eventually I will be converting this tank to house SPS that is the reason for adding the additional lighting. To acclimate the current corals in the tank I'm thinking of ramping down the led in the middle of the day and running the T5s for 3 hours or so during that period. Eventually I'll extend that period and increase the led back to where I had them. Does this sound feasible or is there a better method that does not involve relocating current corals. The T5 fixture is not dimmable so that is not an option. I've attached a crude image of the plan.
