I had C. Mexicano which looks a lot alike, but Tang grazed it down. To keep grazing down now, I regularly grab handful of Grape Caulerpa with with many pods to feed the tank.

I just started a 10g macro tank and I'm also dosing Brightwell Aquatics ChaetoGro, NeoPhos and NeoNitro. I've noticed a ton of oxygen bubbles lately on my macros, I assume it's from photosynthesis and it's a good thing?

Yup! Saltwater pearling. Good sign in my book.

Exquisite pictures. You are savvy not to put heavy macro grazers like tangs. They don’t manicure as beautifully as your tank. I tolerate it and beside I do macro lagoons because they are holistic and the easiest way for me to operate a marine ornamental mixed garden.

Thank you! I definitely stay away from anything that could eat macroalgae, including emerald crabs, urchins, etc. My tanks are too small for tangs anyway. :p

Unfortunately sargassum didn't last long in my UNS 60S (lagoon). Seems pretty hard to keep in aquariums. Everything else is doing great tho. Recent shots.

The Laurencia actually has a cool blue hue if you look at it from the top. Also has cute little dimples at the tips.

Peltata are slightly concave as well. An interesting shape.
