Ok, so i bought a small, REALLY SMALL tiger snapping shrimp on the 18th, acclimated him for a while using the drip method then dropped him in.

As soon as he was set loose, he climbs up a rock then runs down in between 2 rocks, a dark spot. I had the moonlights on on my led light fixture (I recently upgraded to a 4 bulb light fixture). There are plenty of holes, but i don't know if the goby dug them up or if the shrimp is there.

With that being said, the lil guy has gone missing. I haven't seen him since day one, he sort of blends in with my rock and is tiny. I'm worried he is dead beneath some rock or in one. Im getting normal ammonia .25 weekly or every 2 weeks and changing it. I don't see a dead body laying on the sand or floating, i have been checking every day. I asked multiple people and one woman told me she didn't seen hers the full first month and LiveAquaria told me that if i don't see him in 2 weeks, hes dead.

My tank: 55 gallon
Lots of Base rock with about 10 pounds of live (Around 70 pounds of rock total between sump and display)
Sump underneath with live rock and macro-algae
Six line wrasse
Percula clown
Diamond goby (Getting a Yasha Goby soon)

Anyone have any experience with these? I want him to be alive so whenever i get the Yasha they can pair up!
