It's a long read, but worth it in the long run, trust me. He and @melypr1985, are the disease experts on here and are more than happy to answer any questions you may have if you are to get any disease introduced.

Thank you, @steveandmari! [emoji4]

@cameronh, that's a great post by @Humblefish. I think I might be convinced to have a QT now. I know my husband is going to be slightly irked at having yet another tank around, but honestly at this point, what's another tank? [emoji23]
It's a much needed tank though[emoji12] it doesn't have to be set up at all times. Only when you need it.

Wow, guys! I tested again today and I've got 0 ammonia (!), 2.0 nitrite, and a whopping 80 nitrate!! Those are some efficient bacteria I've got in there!

(I'm trying to upload a pic but it keeps failing for me. I'll try again later with this exciting photo of test tubes. Lol)

Awesome! I'm having trouble loading pics as well. #mods, any reason why the picture thing could be a problem?

Well it works on the site. Not the app though. We really need to make our own app. Not tapatalk

Did a large water change and now I've just come home with my first saltwater fish!

I found a LFS that had captive-bred black and white ocellaris clownfish, which is what I've been hoping for! I got a pair and they are acclimating now. Pics when I feel like I can turn the light on without scaring them! [emoji27]

I'm pretty sure I feel my freshwater fish glaring at me now. I can sense their jealousy.

Well, I haven't actually got a CUC yet.... [emoji15] I wasn't sure if I should wait until I had some more algae?? What do you think?
No algae during your cycle? That is usually when you put the CUC in.
