I would like to do a bulk tank. Looking to grow and sell. Will probably use stock tanks. There won't be any livestock in tank. Main questions would be
1= do I need a filter ( no livestock feeding or waste)?
2= since no livestock I need to add supplements. Which is best
3= I read that freshwater lights is best but I have an old Kessel would that be ok?
4= how much flow is needed?

I have 2 reef tanks with macro in them so I do have experience with of mixed tanks. I know I can grow the Macroalgae better in a system designated just for them.

1. No. You can drive up nutrients up as needed.
2. Neophos and NeoNitro and Cheato-Gro
3. As long as you have red spectrum. That seems to work best.
4. Very little. Just enough to remove detritus from surface of the coral.

Great thanks, I would love to add a macroalgae tumbler into the system but can't find any except 1 small one on Ebay. I'm going to have to make my own.
