i got this chalice from a friend of mine about a year and a half ago.he said it wasn't doing good in this tanks so i thought I'd give it a try.

not the nicest looking chalice but i didn't care it was one of my first.so it sat in the sand for a few months till i cut off some of the dead spots around it and mounted it about half way up my tank in a shaded spot.it seemed happy and that's when it stared to change.it got stripes.

from there it turned a lighter color.

then i moved it in to a little more light and it got a deep red color.

so from here it started to get its rainbowish color.
